CROSS POLLINATOR: Save a Forgotten Equine aka S.A.F.E.

It may not be a surprise to you that Kirsten Lints, owner of Gardens ALIVE Design, enjoys being outside a lot – both for work and for play. On their rural property, she and her husband not only have 1 acre of gardens (work in progress) but also pasture and pens for steers, pigs, chickens and ducks. The property once housed her 3 beloved horses that lived to the ripe ole ages of 25, 31 and 33. Since their passing, she has hoped to find the work / life balance to commit to training and riding of her equine friends. For this reason, in 2021, Kirsten has taken a step toward her goal and decided to volunteer at S.A.F.E. Horse Rescue. At S.A.F.E. (Save a Forgotten Equine) she gets more of her beloved outdoor time in conjunction with caring for some very special horses. At the upcoming S.A.F.E. “Heart of the Horse” Auction, Gardens ALIVE Design has donated an Introductory Consultation to assist in the fundraiser. Please consider attending this virtual event, learn more about S.A.F.E. and possibly obtain a gift certificate for the 2 hour consultation to help you, a friend or a loved one to get started with this first step of landscape improvements. Thank you for your possible support for S.A.F.E. horses! Learn more here:
