Job Description

Immediate
full time position available with small, family-owned design, build and
maintenance company located on Vashon Island, specializing in high
quality landscaping services for over 16 years. The landscape
construction crew position requires candidates to possess the knowledge,
skills and physical ability to execute all components of building and
renovating landscapes including site excavation, masonry, carpentry,
soil preparation, planting, irrigation, drainage and low voltage
lighting.



Desired Skills

– 2+ years working in landscape construction

– Working knowledge of equipment and tools to complete tasks

– Masonry skills installing retaining walls, patios and structures with stone, concrete pavers and block

– Carpentry knowledge to construct custom exterior structures such as raised beds, pergolas, trellises, fencing and decks

– Installation and maintenance of irrigation systems

– In depth horticultural knowledge

– Understanding of soil science and health

– WA state drivers license and reliable transportation



Full
time position works Monday through Friday on Vashon Island. ORCA pass
will be provided for ferry commuters. Upon completion of 90 day
eligibility period, full time employees benefit from 2 weeks paid
vacation, 5 paid holidays, accrued sick pay, monthly health stipend ,
retirement savings, performance bonuses, paid training and certification
programs and annual spending allotment for work-wear.



Pay
scale is $25-$35/HR, based on skill level and experience. Willing to
train motivated individuals lacking full skill set but committed to
growing in the position.
