Azusa Farm and Gardens is a well-established garden center with a progressive, bottom-up leadership culture. Championed by a dedicated full-service landscape design/build department, the business is actively engaged with and recognized by the local community. We are seeking a retail-store customer service specialist to help us further our exceptional services to the community.

How to Apply

This position entails working with retail-store customers, in-house nursery colleagues, in-house landscape design/build staff, soft goods and hard goods deliveries from growers and suppliers, and store inventory and displays. Communication and sales skills in answering customer questions, providing professional recommendations, and making sales transactions through cash registers is a must. Sufficient knowledge in horticulture and BMP in pest management is preferred, but on-the-job training is also provided. The ideal candidate would possess these character traits: integrity for what’s right and fair, passion for nature and the profession, self disciplined and motivated, clear communication and teamwork, ability and capacity to learn as a lifelong endeavor, adaptability to changes, and business minded including cost consciousness to the business bottom line.
